Are the lots ready for construction?

Yes. The road is finished, the utilities (sewer, storm water, water supply, electricity, gas and cable access) are laid underground and ready for hook-up to individual homes. The lots are recorded by Washington County.

Is there a Homeowners’ Association?

Yes. As required by State law, Deer Hill Homeowners Association is registered by the State of Oregon as a nonprofit mutual benefit association. Homeowners automatically become members, have voting rights, and pay dues for the upkeep of the common spaces. Please read the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and the Architectural Review Conditions (ARC) to learn more.

Can I select my own designer/architect and builder?

Yes. We encourage you to share the CC&Rs and the ARC with prospective contractors. They will help you to explore the possibilities for building a home at Deer Hill.

Q. Do you have any recommended architects and/or builders?

Yes, but lot owners are free to select their own. Please go to the Building Process page for details.

Q. What can you tell me about lots 5, 6, 7 and 8?

Lots 5 and 6 already have the original two houses on them. Lots 7 and 8 are not on the market, and Deer Hill Inc. has no plans to sell them. For the foreseeable future they will be maintained by the current owners as meadow and garden.
